Yeah, I was surprised at having to pedal it and still ending up with a win and my fastest pass of the day. Probably had an eight in it.
Um, I've pretty much decided to keep the Falcon now and do a bit here and there to make it quicker, but keep it cheap. Do the odd update when I can.
Got plans to do some of the other stuff in the shed though. Next yt project will probably be the VF valiant ute which is a full ground up rebuild. It'll be long term.
As for the original poster, go the E-series for cheap drag action. You could go a six and keep it cheap, or spend a little extra up front and buy an EB-EL XR8 which will give you plenty more options.
