That is true. I dont know how crappy the factory tine for the V8's are. Thats why I qualified my statement like that. If the factory tune is as bad for the V8 as it is for a VCT then the chip is the better buy for a road car. If the factory tune is close to the XR6HP (not so bad) then it might not be the best choice.

I cant and wont recommend the edit ..... yet. Its brand new, has no real experianced tuners and, at this point, not even a list of exactly what it can and cant do. Personally I wont even consider an edit for at least another 6 months but if people want to go for it then I guess it could prove to be a good thing in the long run.
