Default Re: Final Commodore LS3 304kw 570nm

I bought an ex-GM Calais Sportwagon 6.0lt back in March, and gotta say feeling a bit underdone now reading about the series 2.

Day to day mine feels plenty quick enough, but on those occasions when I stretch it out a little, remembering there are SIX litres under my foot, I cant help but wonder which era this engine is actually from. And you could argue the 6.2 is even less efficient than the 6.0, but at the end of the day the speed vs fuel economy equation is pretty damn good with these, plus the physical size of the engine and light weight = not much to complain about.

Smart move by Holden to concentrate on the performance models as well, that's the only area Commodores and Falcons are even remotely relevant these days. 4 cylinder Falcon anyone? Thought not...
