I had a 4.2 Diesel GQ (maverick) For years. They are a good bit of kit and basically Bulletproof! I traversed the whole East Coast of Australia in mine over the years, including Camerons corner (NSW) and Tasmania. She also saw her fair share of 4WD parks and weekend get aways. Cheap to run and not that expensive if you maintain them. Mine had 4" suspension Lift, 2" tyre Lift, Lockers, Transfer case reduction gears and Turbo conversion.
Would i own another one? Hell yeah, if i had the room.
