Yes Trev, I understand the theory behind it but the theory and the practical are 2 vastly different things.
If as a driver you complain about compliance or fail to take the required shortcuts you will be swiftly moved on for someone who will, which relates to my earlier comment about 'new Australians' as they don't care.
As I said, I stood there and listened to someone with a LOT of clout in the passenger transport industry tell senior management they could sleep easy at night knowing their **** was covered followed by a driver being dragged over the coals for answering honestly a question they included in their pre trip checks.
I doubt I'm a pioneer Trev.
