Agree with the thrust of Smoo’s remarks, it’s as though you cede proprietorial rights when some of these cars are in public places. Peoples’ levels of respect vary enormously.
Getting parts is something that is a serious consideration. Access and price point between the 2 marques will be a large part of the decision.

Smoo's comments hit some home truths I need to weigh up. My attitude to the car regarding how people treat it will be at the fore front of my mind. How would I react if someone were to treat it like rubbish just because 'they paid for the hire'?

A large bond would have to be part of the arrangement. Im guessing insurance would then be massive due to using the car as a commercial application. Cleaning/soilage fee etc etc. Im guessing people may be turned off at the +++ items on top of the hire fee.

Man this is a reality check I didnt think I needed.
