Default Re: Covid 19 -

Data valid as at 00:00 GMT week ending July 7th 2023.

10,067 new cases for Australia and 130 deaths so the CMR is 0.187% (é).
NZ reported 6,580 cases and 23 deaths for a CMR of 0.187% (-).
43,276 new cases in the USA this week and 344 deaths for a CMR of 1.088% (ê).
Global cases pass 691M;
North America passes 127M cases

Global case numbers are up to 190,250 this week compared to the 132,445 last week and the number of deaths decreased from an unamended 2,330 last week to 2,268 this week. It should be noted that the amended case numbers for last week are up to 251,836 due to the extended reporting periods.

Australia / New Zealand
NSW Predictive Trend

VIC Predictive Trend

Other Predictive Trend

NSW had 796 more cases than Victoria last week;
Victoria recorded 1,737 less cases than the previous week;
NSW recorded 878 more;
Queensland had 748 less;
WA recorded 179 less;
SA recorded 190 less; and
New Zealand recorded 1,104 less.

The week totalled 10,067 cases, a 16.7% decrease on last week but we are clearly under-reporting cases because the CMR the last few weeks has been well above the long-term and above 1%.
