Note that the factory workshop manual Section 100-02 (and doubtless also the owner's handbook in your glove-box) specifically states the jack that came with car is only designed for and,
should only be used to change a deflated tyre in an emergency, and never to use that jack to hoist the car for any other purpose. Essentially, they are not stable enough to use for any mechanical repairs and maintenance where even a hand might be under the car and be crushed if they tip over.
