id love to dyno my mk2. Mine has a 2L with a boatload of work done to it and goes quite hard. Personally i haven't driven a 1600 but i must admit the 2L is so much fun, so lumpy and old school its awesome!
The best part about the escorts ive found isnt the straight line performance though, the handling makes them so much fun. Pure RWD animals!
