Typical that the PC crowd jumps on this when it has literally nothing to do with them. It isn't their property or their child but they just have to get involved!
Personally I don't care either way - the Earth is overpopulated. If people want to take such a hands-on approach to population control, that is just fine with me. Most of all I simply have to question the thought process this father had going on when he decided to upload to facebook... how could you possibly think it would end well?
