Also check the wiring to the ignition switch (opposite end of the barrel to where the key goes in) to see if the small round crimped in PC board where all the wires go in is coming away from the crimps.

Checked small round crimped wires in PC board in the opposite end of the barrel and all seem to be fine without touching them.
