Hmm? Is this really a relevant excuse in these days of precision computer-controlled robot built engines where they virtually come off the production line blue-printed and hardly touched by human hands?
I would not be surprised that the expression "run-in" has been excised from the Oxford dictionary because, sadly, most buyers don't even know what an engine is.
