Older population, a different society and lifestyle to Australia and dense population, its not comparable to Australia - they tend to have multiple generations living in one household, are very family oriented, greet each other by kissing and a very laid back society in that they don't care much for rules/regulations, prioritising tradition and the catholic church over everything else.

Average life expectancy in Australia is 82.5 years, four of those deaths exceed this life expectancy and one was very close at 81 years old, the rest are in their 70s and one of them was late 60s, the one in their 60s with a 'serious underlying medical condition'.
The media isn't giving you context - they're misrepresenting information, which is their usual MO anyway.
