Default Removing stickers from windows?

I did a bit of a search and only found other threads with advice for removing stickers from paint.
But I'm curious to know how to best remove stickers from the window (ie. dealer sticker)? I've attached it with my fingernail but haven't got far.

Any help would be appreciated! :-)

In the old rego sticker days, I used to get a wad of wet newspaper and wedge so it would be pressed against the glass (and all over the sticker), then leave it overnight. The sticker would pull off easily. Hopefully, something like that would work.

If it's on the outside you could try some eucalyptus oil. I would put the product on a clean rag first. Eucalyptus oil is what I used to get rego sticker off. Don't forget to clean any left over product residue off glass once you have removed sticker.

Just yank it off. Pulled plenty of rego stickers off, and most recent a sticker on the back of the car. Just get an edge and yank for your life....HAHA

Heat (hairdryer/heatgun) can also be your friend. It melts the adhesive and should come off a lot easier - use this in signage heaps to remove graphics

Spray on a good quality window glass cleaner around and on sticker, and a good quality blade is all you need. For the gluey stuff, dab it with some metho soaked in a clean rag.

On a sunny day get a damp sponge and get the back of the sticker wet. Then take some cling wrap and seal it around the sticker on the glass. Close the car completely and leave for 20 minutes. Sticker will come right off, I've done it to my rego stickers for years!

Casabonka is on the money. Heat the glue with a hair dryer and they come off easily (mostly). I've had lots of experience removing decals from fibreglass motorbike fairings for repairs, and the easiest way is with a heat gun or hair dryer.

Pi***s my wife off when I forget to put the hair dryer back though, and she has to go to the shed to find it.
