07 fiesta clutch

Hi, just wondering if any one knows, we have had alot of flash flooding here at the moment and i went through some deep flood waters no choice had to get the car out some how, and the clutch started slipping badly wouldnt the clutch be a sealed thing???? and should i worry about it being wet cos it works fine now after a day on dry ground

The clutch isnt sealed, so if you went through water, it would have gotten i bit wet. Should be alright now though

The only concern i'd have is if the thrust bearing got water in it, they're typically sealed though.
The clutch itself should be fine after the first drive once its dry.

Probably best change the transmission fluid as well, couldnt hurt it.
