Default Is anyone building a two-door FG?

A friend of mine just saw one on the way to work, didn't manage to a photograph. But said it was definitely a two door, had trade plates, and he couldn't quite work out if it was an XR6 or XR8 badge.

Absolutely no idea. His drive to work is from out Cockatoo way in towards the city. He said definitely FG, on trade plates, definitely only two doors. He rang me as he know I follow Ford a little and have the F6 etc.

Unless it was a ute with some sort of fastback canopy on it. If it had trade plates it suggests it was at/with a dealership and if it was a coupe we would have found something out about an FG coupe model by now.

He isn't silly enough to mistake a ute with canopy for it. When I speak to him next I will clarify whether they were trade plates or the different sorts of plates that prototypes sometimes wear, the likes of which I use to see on the Camaro style Holdens up places like the Black Spur a couple of years ago.

Hilliers is in Tenterfield, not sure if they are still up and running.

Hilliers haven't seemed to do too much after their BA ute.

Dreamtech built a BA Coupe.

Edit, found an FG coupe!

Dream on, Closest we'll get to a new Falcon coupe would be if they started making Mustang right hand drive, or after market build $$$$$

I was thinking the same thing. Has anyone grafted a FG front end onto a Mustang rear?

In future, if these cars share platforms and engines, how hard would it be to produce I wonder?

Then again, I don't mind the mustang as it is. Would be cheaper to engineer it for RHD and sell it here as is.
