Feel free to move this to another thread if it's already on here..
Headed down over the long weekend for a look Great mix of cars and some good racing. Took a tonne of pictures, couldn't get photos of everything but here's a few from the day.. The GT 40 was a beautiful, beautiful machine. Big highlight was the 1 million dollar+ AMG GT3 car, stunning piece of machinery, can only imagine what it's like to drive. Climbed in and its so tight you cannot move in the seat but still felt pretty comfortable. The seat doesn't move but the pedals and wheel move pneumatically to suit the driver. The doors weigh nothing and felt like they were going to break just closing them. Apparently it can hit turn one at Sydney Motorsport Park almost flat out at over 200km/h in 6th !! Anyone that knows turn 1 at SMSP knows it takes massive commitment to hit that turn at full throttle.. : I forgot the details of it but the old F1 car was a beast and sounded terrifying. Plenty of open wheelers and mustangs. A mental jet powered go kart, and a heap of old Touring Cars. I've got a lot more and ill put them up when i sort through them.. :thumb: |

"Apparently it can hit turn one at Sydney Motorsport Park almost flat out at over 200km/h in 6th !!"
The Formula Fords that were racing there that weekend were also doing over 200 through turn 1. |
