Default full time reverse mirror

Past 4 years Ive had a Parkmate reverse mirror installed in ute, It is wired on full time as I use it for mirror due to covered in box on ute.

Its getting tired of working now the upgraded model
JB hifi $444
ebay $399

advantage of JB would be warranty IF it had problems...
your thoughts please

Not sure if this is the same model however you'll find Supercheap and Autobarn cheaper if near you.

I've got this one in my ute as I have a separate dash camera and it's a neat fit as it replaces the standard mirror.

It switches to rear camera view when reverse is selected otherwise it's a normal rear view mirror but it's also wired via a dash rocker switch so reverse view can be completely turned off if needed.

I've got 3 camera's on my trays rear bumper, central, right and left side and it can be switched between either or have a central or split view, eg either camera on its own or left and right as a split view etc.

Had for approx 6 years and its always been set for on when reversing and I've had no issues whatsoever.

so went out to have a squizzz and when engine is turned on a 'no signal' appears on the screen, wiring back to camera looks OK.

So how does one test this to find out which item has got on the blink?

I would reckon the camera is the problem, probably the sealant has gone hard and let moisture in

update on old post.

Somehow I got all working but cannot remember how.
I now have a box trailer that has a 12v camera fitted, when we went to wire this into the full time reverse camera on the ute, we discovered the ute camera is 3.7v so we have a problem.
I have a camera, that works on reverse only that shows the towball and area around, the inside mirror was replaced with a camera mirror that is on full time showing behind ute,
So I would like to upgrade with new FLUSH mount 12v camera for ute and another mirror for inside. The latest ones can have a front facing camera as well but they mostly appear as clip overs not the windscreen mount.

So recommendations/thoughts/ideas please
