Well Chrysler have decided to stretch the 300C platform to develop a 300C LWB. So now there is a 300C and a 300C LWB. Here is the true competitor to the Fairlane/LTD and the Statesman/Caprice:

Amazing..... amazing that Autospies has published pictures that aren't photochops!
I used to visit that site religiously years ago, until it turned into a photochop laughing stock. I've lost count as to how many "news items" they have made, "exclusive", or "world first", that are just frigging backyard chops. Screw them! :

The ugly just getting uglier.
Seems these things are drawing quite a crowd, but they are still not at all attractive that's for sure. |

There was a rapper in America featured in Cribs that had a 300c stretched about two feet. Looked ok.

Note to ford:
This is how you make a LWB car. You extend the car wheelbase and use bigger doors. You do not use any old rear window you have lying around either. If Ford had the BA, made it 150 mm longer, gave it unique doors, roof, rear window and squared off the rear. Jesus, they would have had one extremely sexy car.. A A8L for the masses. Just give it some real interior colour options, power rear seats, heated seats, heated cooled cup holders and made the roof mostly glass (like some newer french and luxury cars) and they would have sold millions of the buggers. To S.A, to UK etc.. Would have pushed the door open for Orion to be sold in UAE etc.. Apparently this is exactly what holden is doing with the next statesman.. As for the crysler, it needs LWB, the regular cabin is too cramped and it will sell well because in that market people like bigger.. |
