Didn't realize you had a thread too! I meant the win from the second game!

My house went bezerk! What a brilliant win, it's unbelievable how many records NZ smashed in that game! Hahaha did you hear what Gilly had to say on TV today? What a tool.

Just deserts!

What a game!! Australia got 346 (not 341 I'm sure), NZ's reply was 350 with 4 balls to spare.
I didn't think they could top the last game but, well, they sure did.

Aussie didn't play bad, I just think NZ played a lot, lot better.
When you lose with 346 on the board, I think you have to stand back and just admire.

This time proving that even with "equal" teams we can do just the same - clean them up.
No Bond, Vetorri or Oram but still a 1st 11 worthy of the black jumper.

Well done New Zealand....."enjoy it while it lasts?" Roger that!! :
Isn't that 6 or 7 on the trot for Aussie? :

Nope, what did Gilly say? Win like Aussies........Underarmed the last deliveries? :

Hayden played real well though, I was willing him on to be the top scorer.

Yeah just made the change to the scroes; even better! Credit to Hayden also, but the chase overshadows everything he did, unfortunately for him!

Ears was going on about how NZ should have played this series in Aus (WTF?) and how they could've played it after the Commonwealth Bank finals, in Aus. In the Aussie media he said the series was a waste of time, and harmful to Australian Cricket (in terms of World Cup) - Funny how he didn't think the same when they won the series last year. Tool.

I thought he basically said that this series shouldn't have been played, and the players didn't want to do it and would have rathered a break before the world cup.

Pretty sure he said it before this last game.

Either way, lets see what happens in the big one.

I've heard this excuse alot. Its made by the aussies when they lose.
I see it simpler... They are professional cricket players. Thats all they do, thats all they need to do.
Cricket is a seasonal sport, so rest in the off season or retire because your too old for it.
Anyways... Yyeeeeeeehhhaaaaaaaaarrrgghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 - zip!!!

: Typical.....we give all credit when you beat us at Rugby, seems as though it's too much to ask for some people, Gillies, I thought you had more sportsman ship than that.

I'm sure our guys would have loved a rest too but we got on with it and hung them out to dry. Now, we can rest. The trophy is for two of our countries greatest players, have some respect ears and turn up ready to play for your country at the drop of a hat! Rest? bloody Sissy.

Tuff call calling Gilchrist a bad sportsman when he's the only player in the world who will walk before seeing the umpires finger go up.
Australia 27 extras NZ 5 extras, im glad we could help :

And for Rugby, you can have it......

Yes, I know, that's why I said what I did. He let me down, thought he was a better sportsman than that. Extras, yupe, you played crap, we didn't, we helped ourselves by bowling within in the pitch, and not towards 3rd slip, quite a basic Cricket requirement. ;) Rugby? We'll have it if we can win it, thanks but I don't think Aussie will have a say.

We have enough of it already, the media would report the All Blacks captain getting mcdonalds for lunch before they'd report the biggest of Motorsport news, even Greg Murphy.

Yupe, whatever. : Later on - as you keep saying.....no home advantage for you or us - bring it on.
I'll be happy if we make the semis, that's a win in my books. South Africa IMO will hold the trophy.....after that, bring on the rugby world cup. ;)

There are local teams in OZ that would pump the Australian team at the moment.

It's a Tui billboard but I can't read it! :(

Sports tonight just added to the list of records broken in the game: 26 sixes, equalling the world record. We need to compile a list of records NZ smashed in this one game alone

Didnt Haydos hit 10 of those 26 sixes and Australia 16 in total, how is that a NZ smashing record?
I've played local cricket here on bigger grounds than you guys have :
