Post AU FALCON & E-SERIES Combined Cruise

Hey Everyone,

I've already posted this thread before, but people wanted it later on after the AU BBQ day! So i think it's time to post it again!

Ok my plan is to have a combined AU FALCON & E-SERIES Cruise! Within the next 2 weeks hopefully! Im really wanting to make this happen, other people i've talked to either at the AU BBQ or on on the forums it's self!
I know the guys from the E-SERIES had a awsome cruise the other night with over 50+ E-SERIES cars! Just imagine all of them and all of the AU's cruising together! It's goona be BIG! :

But i need help to make this happen! So any ideas of location's etc would be much apprectiated! Again i really want this to happen people! Im going to post a thread in the E-SERIES about this cruise as well! So the word get's around! Anyone from the E-SERIES cruise that helped oraganise the cruise the other night! I'd love to here your feedback and ideas as well!

So lets make this happen!

Cheers

Simon :nutsycuck

CAN A MOD PLEASE MAKE THIS A STICKY!

Can't you Sydney guys organise your own cruise : , let's leave this thread to those who want to attend not wish they can attend. I'll be in for the cruise, start making a list and then we can determine where we will meet up as their are au and e-series owners scattered everywhere. And yes, us damn Mexicans have all the fun:the_finge :the_finge .

Thank you, bloddy interstaters lol! Ok i was thinking Mt. Dandenong through to Lillydale,Heasville etc! Our meeting point for where ever we cruise too would be at Harvey Norman/Bunnings @ Nundawading wouldn't be a bad idea, as people know it fairly well! Then heading towards where ever we organise the cruise too!

Possibley even take the costal route, through frankston etc. Im trying to stay away from the city as of traffic on a friday/saturday night and for those who don't have e-tags! The e-series gang have made there own list on whos going they just need a date and a location and there cool!

For now the date will be set for either friday the 5th or saturday the 6th of MAY depending and the time we would meet there would be between 7.30 and leave at 8.30 for the cruise! Again i would need help with mapping out these suburbs and a itinerary!

Cheers

Simon

There are already 19 E-Serirs members in at this point! A awsome resonse! Im hoping for 100+ cars! Should be easy!

PS: Feel free to PM me with any ideas!

And i think Phillip Island would be too far for the first cruise! What do people think of Phillip Island!

We could Cruise to Phillip Island , i Love it down there , its a bit far though , you need somewhere with a Big Carpark !!

MT Dandenong Cruise would be Good , But Phillip Island would be better !!

Its up to Simon (OZFORDAU) , hes organising it , im just in it !!

Just note that you CANNOT use the Doncaster Park N Ride, its considered private property, the last eseries cruise discovered that.

Via the Harvey Norman/Bunnings @ Nundawading is a good starting point as it is well known.

Philip island is way to far for a night cruise. Healsville is a good place.

Last cruise we organised involved a central meeting point then cruised the nice roads and stopped for a coffee, cruised a bit more till midnight and then stopped at Maccas for a bite, from their some went home and others kept cruising. We ended up cruising to St.Kilda Marina then to Dandenong which from there we all cruised home. Just an idea as the cruise was a success or even if you speak to the e series guys coz I know they have a few different routes which cover alot of suburbs. PS-Don't forget to mention to bring a UHF radio along as it makes it easier and fun for the night.
NIGHT CRUISE
Mick.

NIGHT CRUISE
Mick.
the issue is the size, E-Series night cruises have to be planned fairly carefully and well due to needing car parks to take 50-60+ cars

Post Change Of Plan.....

Ok everone weve had a change in the plans....Were not going through The Black Spur anymore instead were heading from Nundawading to lilydale to healsville then the Cardina Dam which would be the last stop! Weve calculated that its over 100kms and thats without returning down the mountain!

So Me, AdzELXR and jjM have all been talking about this and have decided it's better off doing the cruise this way! :

Cheers

Sounds awesome... personally i don't care where it is... i'll be there. I like the idea of Healsville, but admittedly if people are coming from the western side of Melbourne (not me) it could be a bit far. Either way, someone's gotta just decide on a place so people can see if they can make it. We'd need at least 1 week notice, so tomorrow we gotta decide! I'm in...
