Just curious the amount of work/time/money it would take to convert an XR5 to rear wheel drive?
I'd imagine it wouldn't be realistic at all but oh my that thing would be so much fun. |

Have a look to the Uk. there are companies doing the conversion who have created 'kits' that allow fitment of a cosworth engine and possibly a sierra rear axle and subframes.

Wow there's a lot more work than I expected.
Why didn't they just bring it out rwd from the beginning? I'd buy one tomorrow... |

I'm pretty sure I've seen one in Europe that had the I5T fitted and was rwd.
