Ok, I've done a quick search. I was just looking at the XR Leather door trims, which somehow manage to be cheaper than the cloth insert? But anyway.

Do these door trims come with the leather arm rest? The triang-ula pad where u rest your elbow? Or is it an additional item? And would this be it...?

"ARMREST ASSY - REAR DR, RH, XR, WARM CHARCOAL, WITH LEATHER TRIM" ?

Does anyone know what the DR means, because it's on a few items?

Sorry for the annoying questions :P Just tell me to: : or :togo: :1syellow1

DR (as stated in the instructions) stands for DOOR.
The armrest doesn't come with the door trim and you are right in your choice of item.

Cheers

The format I have the data in makes it unsuitable for easy creation of the database fields - it took about 40 hours to extract and reformat the 305 pages of data to make that table and it isn't even one of the larger ones.

It's not too bad for the really old ones like XA-XC as there are very few parts left (about 21 pages) but for EF-EL (177 pages) and EA-ED (272 pages) it's hard work.

We have left an extra field in the table to add the model series but it may be some time yet before that becomes available.

Cheers
Russ

Please re-read the instructions above as the database has been updated to include the EA-ED range.

Russ (or anyone), I have searched the data base but come up with nothing for part No's and price's for the two items in the photo attached. I'm looking at the AUII/III LTD center dash console trim panel around that holds the two air vents (in Black please), and the woodgrain trim panel around the radio and sat nav screen. Also, would you know if the woodgrain panel was availble in the carbon fibre look that is available standard on the T-series models? Maybe for a AUII/III TL50 with sat nav optioned?? Any help is very much appreciated, thank you.

Here we run into the classic naming issue which is why the graphics that I have make it a bit easier for me.

The trim around the centre stack is called a bezel:

AU2 10E948 A1 BEZEL DISPLAY MON, COTTON WALNUT, LTD $167.44
AU2 10E948 A1D BEZEL DISPLAY MON, VIRTUAL CAMPHOR, GHIA/FAIRLANE $154.96

the T-Series ones only look as if they are available as a complete unit and they aren't cheap!

The other part is a lower instrument panel moulding (abbreviated to INSTR just to make it easy)

AU2 F044A12 A1D PANEL INSTR FINISH, LOWER, FORTE/FUTURA/FMT/GHIA/FAIRLANE, DK GRAPHITE $56.70
AU2 F044A85 A1D PANEL INSTR FINISH, LOWER, (-)XR/LTD, DK GRAPHITE

Cheers
Russ

Russ, sorry to be a pain, I checked out the info on the database and couldnt find a clear answer...
Do you have part numbers for the VCT cam in Series 1 and 3 and is it different?
I could only find 1 cam for the VCT and it didnt say what Series it was from.

It didn't change and the ERT 6250 B part is the correct one as far as I can see.

Hi Russ,

Is this the correct part no for a weathershield AU F03682 A ??

Recent wet weather has prompted me to do something about the damn dripping in the car window.

I suspect these are the right ones:

ER 18492 A WEATHERSHIELD, RH, (-)FAIRLANE/LTD $71.30
ER 18493 A WEATHERSHIELD, LH, (-)FAIRLANE/LTD $71.30

The one you found is the moulding that runs down the side of the windscreen!

Cheers

Sorry to have to ask but I tried the LED dash mod of AUfalcon and when using the allen keys to pull the dash out it actually damaged it a fair bit (mine was in there mega tight). The clear plastic on the front of the dash has actually pulled away from the black lining on the top of the dash so now when they lights are on you can see a line running across the top where the dash dash doesnt fully meet the front. Iv tried to fix it but just cant :(

I was wondering can the front part of the cluster be purchased? As in the plastic front with the black part that goes on over the needles... the bit that clips into the white part.... so hard to expalin.

Here is the best picture I can draw
http://www.lexicon.net/ghagen/cluster.JPG

Is it possible to purchase the front clear piece plus the backing seperatly from the cluster ?

I got the parts from Ford, cause i buggered mine. I got the black plastic piece and the clear lens. Have you got an XR Cluster?

The lens is only $20, and the mask is only $20. So no more than $50.

I think these are the parts you need:
ER 10890 A MASK INST CLUSTER, PAINTED
ER 10887 A LENS INST CLUSTER

Those parts are for a forte/low-series cluster, i think.

Not sure if you mean this bit:

ER 10887 A LENS INST CLUSTER $26.20

See the image below.

Hay Russ I was wondering where do the prices come from?

I ordered;
TAU2 10849 A INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, XR, LESS POLICE PACK $431.00

When I went in to order it they told me $580. They gave trade and that was $480. They asked where I got the price and I just told them net and they said ok we will match it and gave it to me for $430. Why they wanted to match it I don't know but Im not complaining.

I was wondering is the price difference just because of dealers?

edit; I didn't actually tell them this site as I wasn't there purchasing it at the time though it sounds like I did! It should be when my brother went in to order.

I'd seriously look at getting the bits from a wrecker to be honest. Might be quicker and that area usually isnt damaged in a wrecked AU.

LG you are a life saver. I was thinking ford would want like $150 for the front plastic.. wouldn't be surprised. Its for a low sereis cluster and you just the front and the black plasic bit that goes aorund the outside and the needles.

I was thinking of the wreckers but if I could find one I know they would want like $200, mine isnt damaged just the plasic bit from getting it out with the allen keys.

Thanks again
