Default damaged cars

seeing as tho i work for a car rental company and i get to see all the damaged cars i thought id post some pics. i saw one car about a month ago from another company that had actually flipped the car on the roof on a flat smooth (but wet) road... we are all stupped on how he did it. but here is the pics i do have. im sure there will be plenty more

not sure on this ones story but plain to see what happened (latest series - see bodykit - less then 1000k's)

this one is interesting... "avoided a rock on his driveway and rolled it down the hill"

Hire Car's are good for parts, cant see some one getting away with stealing the wheels though, but you never know

The 18" rims are only fitted when 6 speed auto is optioned, as a Retail oriented feature. Renter XR6's all have 4 speed autos so they only get standard 17" rims.

Wow
must be a silver car thing : (only kidding of course).

Hiring a car you would have to feel a bit of a tool saying you avoided a rock in your driveway.. very bizarre for sure.

The roof on the Pajero certainly looks like it hasn't stood up well. Proof that 4WDs certainly aren't invincible.

Pre-June 2007 BF II's that must have been optioned with ZF's or something as a trial perhaps.

Mate I would never buy an ex rental car.

Years ago I worked at a servo that hired utes out.
We had one fellow do a 4 hour hire,
(admittedly we never found out till much later, but when the ute came back it was chewing through oil.
The bugger had hired it for an hour and swapped motors with his ute of the same make and model.
I wonder how often this happens with hire vehicles.

Was a crack up :

Haha, reminds me of a story that my sisters boyfriend told me. Him and a few mates hired out a car to hoon about in, they went to a quiet street and took it in turns of jamming up the handbrake while cornering, until one of his mates hit the handbrake, slid into the gutter and rolled the car, busting it all up.... Lots of money comes into the story later

ok got some more for ya all. first one i dont know the story on... but the tarago and prius behind it also have frontal damage...

next up is a getz who decided to take on a small truck... done a good job...

this one was a cracker... we had the main boss who had just arrived, the new guy took out the Mitsu.. 380 across the back of the "regional directors" car... 3500 dollars in damage. im now 1 of 2 people who havnt crashed a car (touch wood) the other guy is only a new guy.

last one for now is a brand new lancer... not sure on the story but the customer obviously took it into a wall or another car...

and off topic but look at the size of the muffler on a lancer... its almost fuel tank size

it's been done- on one of the first Jacka$$ movies theu hired a car, welded in a bit of a rollbar and took it in a demo derby- then took it back, told 'em it was like that when they picked it up.

used to detail the occasional rental and a few that had been traded in and some of the stuff you'd find was interesting. some would smell like puke for weeks, others had mud eveywhere- inside and out. don't miss those jobs.
