Try K & S Freighters
Ryans at warrambool ( spelling)
Scotts Of Mt Gambier
Hendersons Transport at Bordertown i think
Diamond Bros at Ballarat
Success Transport at Geelong.

that are company's in your area. or if ya keen for a move. Try:
Shaws of Darwin
Betts Transport at Walcha
Rob Pilon Transport at Dubbo
Cockburn Transport WA

There are heaps. go onto the transport newspaper called OwnerDriver. They have a webpage too. Hope that is a start.

Cheers

brian

id stay away from working for a transport company direct, the way they are going down at the moment you wont know where you stand.

If you go and work for a labour hire company atleast you have job security, if a company they sub you to goes broke then you'll still have a job next week, they will just place you somewhere else.

I thought Scotts of MG went broke??

No. That was Scotts Refrigerated of Sydney.

I doubt old Scotty (of Mt Gambier) will ever go broke.

that is gold . he basically owns 1/2 the industry. BRW maganzine could make his name in the rich lest due to his wealth being all private and unavailble.

Go to any half reasonable roadhouse and get the Owner Driver mag/newspaper. There's Always at least 3 pages of jobs going.

If you cant get a job from there you aint trying

They have a couple of shuttles running. Neighbour accross the road works for them. Heap of mates here use to work there and they reckon it was ok.

where are you? plenty of mining jobs over here, the trick isnt knowing someone, that gets you nowhere, its doing a crap job to start with and working your way up..... you have to make sacrifices to get where you want to be.

I was refering to post #25. Is this some jargon in your industry?

Thanks.
