Default Do you hate Exec. with HSV kits?

Well how about when someone that owns a Hummer, really wanted a Bently?

If you dress a hummer up like a bentley does that make it a Bummer? (maybe that's the driver)

Worst is when they try and fit kits from different series to a VN for example. I think I've seen some people try to put VY kits on a VN. Body kit would be worth more than the car.

The guy first of all owned a VL which was the biggest POS, dual fuel, thrashed, noises, got beaten by a bloody 1987 Camry 2.0 auto 4cyl WITH 385 000k's on it, no joke there, the VL only had 240 000 or so and was a 5 speed manual.

After showing him many Fords he in the end told me "I'm not buying a Ford".
So he buys this VN which has 2 subs cut into the parcel shelf, first mod a nice amazing pod filter not enclosed. Has a neon in his interior.
He also likes those retarded altezza's that look like they belong in Back to the Future.

As for the ******* up examples they look like the Beez Kneez to him.

i hate VL commdores with chaser/pursuit rims on the back dumped in the *** with P plates.

because its every second car.. and yea.. bentleys are bentleys.. hummers.. dont have the right to be bentleys. shows that the particular person had the money** to buy a Hummer, then get it customised to look bentley.. ish and was too stupid to realise that with the money spent on the body kit/interior probably couldve bought a freakin bentley

Would've prefered a Lamborghini Cheetah instead.

Hummer H2 with the Bentley R engine - now that would be worthwhile in the dunes

Looks abit like the work of the "pimp my ride" crew & like most of there work...its disgusting, Very much african american gangsta/pimp style, lucky we dont have to much of that influence on our cars here, apart from the "sex spec" thing you see everything now & then like putting 22's on a 200SX...

Cause a Falcon 500 is a classic... and didn't the GT share similar suspension to the standard models (or am I way off there?) as opposed to a HSV tuned car...

Same deal to me.

At the end of the day what happens when your driving your replica and pull up at the lights next to the real deal? In the words of Jeremy Clarkson "It's the Automotive equivalent of standing at the urinals next to a Stallion, you'll just feel earrrgghh"

The sad thing is that the Commowhores with HSV kits and Lancers with Evo kits pull all the chicks who think the car "so hot and fast" :

Exactly A GT replica is still just things slapped on a base model, not far removed from a HSV kitted Executive

LMAO!

he even has the Boss stickers on the bonnet!
Thats at LEAST a 20rwkw gain right there...

I agree with the "each to thier own" thing, but replica's (i'm talking newer falcons, EA onwards...) just look tacky.

I mean, my XR8 is just that, an XR8. NOT a GT.
I think it would be degrading to both the GT and XR badges if i was to turn it into another replica.

I've seen plenty worse. The only issues I have with that car are that blue crap in the centre area, the tail lights and the wing.

The Hummer, on the other hand, makes me want to cry.

I don't care wether its a modern Ford or a modern Holden, look a likes all suck IMO.

I put replicas of classics like XY GTHO's in a different cetegory though, as the prices of geniune ones is so far out of reach of the average person that replicas are the only option for the average joe who craves a GTHO. I think thats different from some tool with a 5k VT who wants his car to look like a 15k Clubsport, by the time they tart up their stocky it probably costs near enough to what a genuine one would have cost in the first place.

Does this include wagons?ford used to build xr6 and xr8 wagons but now thanks to there inconsideraton to the ford faithful they give us a boring looking wagons.so the family man who needs a wagon or the worker who needs a wagon for work gets stuck with something pretty boring when they would prefer something a bit more, get left with an xt or futura at best.not good enough ford.

i dont have a problem with the kit on a wagon but puting the boss 290 sticker on if it dont have the engine in it that's going to far just like putting the fpv and gt badges
