It says in the ad that it's got 0 doors. I wouldn't buy a car with no doors!

On a serious note, Damn that'd be nice!

I think i would rather import my own GT500 and have it converted - probably save you a nice amount of coin too.

On another note i saw a W427 in Orange, NSW whilst on way to the bseries show in parkes. I saw the rear end and nothing really ticked, i read the numberplate which was HW427 or around those lines and then i saw the front end and wheels - it actually looks alright on the road, although its wayy to similar to the rest of the HSV range, especially in black.

I am amazed at how you say so much on here but have so little, if any at all, idea about almost anything.

what are you talking about?? You could import your own GT500 from the states and convert it - the mark up for aussie imports is huge!

Really? You seem to be such a know all. How do you do this? Just walk into a Ford shop, buy a Shelby, stick it in a container, send it over here, unbolt the steering wheel, attach it to the other side with cable ties and away you go?

I wonder if you might need a whole heap of licences and permits before you even start?
I wonder if the plethora of super cheap late model performance cars for sale for "track only" were imported by other "clever people" who had no idea and no can never get the car registered under any circumstance?

Like almost everything you write on here you have no idea whatsoever.

You sure are Rebel without a clue.

P.S. This post increased my count from 2988 to 2989....

Sweet, could you point me to a reputable importer that would do that for me, I'd absolutely consider it for my next car.

How do you know i was incorrect? And no dont make some stupid Prove your right comment. i made a statement based on my own knowledge and experiences - sure if im wrong fine, tell me but dont blast and flame away like the arrogant ****s they were being - If someones wrong correct them, offer advice.. dont abuse them.. apparently i dont dont contribute to things.. i dont ever see them contributing - all i ever see them doing is making sarcastic comments.

Let's all take a step back here as the next person to post something derogatory or insulting towards another user will be given a 24hr ban.

ok a mate of mine goes to new york and buys old cars (mustangs, camaros, elcominos)
and converts them himself. (serous amount of work)
how ever importing 1988 of later models, is now illegal to convert to R/H drive with the exception of a company in QLD
whom has the only RTA approval for converted cars..
the story goes he went to buy a chevy suburban 2001 model, found out that the RTA will only approve suchin such company for conversion.
adding all the cost it would have been far cheaper to buy a holden suburban..

edit: selective RTA http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registrati...tember2008.pdfhttp://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registrati...i/vsi_dl1.html

So, the only place you can convert a car from RHD to LHD is a place in QLD because it has the approval of a NSW State government body to do so?
Am I reading that right?

6 years ago yes, you read right.
the link is more modern. (nothing like going to the RTA and getting a 2000 page book of rules).,

This vehicle was purchased secondhand, it only has 300miles on it. Has an airbox, full stainless exhaust and tuning software.

Think I'd buy the W427 rather than import something.

300rwkw with full factory warranty kind of appeals to me!
