I bought/got a mobile phone under contract last year, went to a party and came home without it, i notified the company they barred the phone and i got a new 1. Four months later it has been returned to me yesterday, picked up by a friend caused it was exactly like hers, she finally traced it back to me.What i want to know is, can i get this switched back on as its still brand new and i still have all the contents with it, or do i just throw the thing away. Havent been able to get through to the company yet, today......

Yes you can have it un-barred..............
Unless you made an insurance claim for it and have been paid out then the phone no longer belongs to you - it belongs to the insurance company and you should forward it to them
