last time i tried cutting cost and doing mine at the local kmart was a disaster, got the car back worse than it originally was (e.g. alignment off). better off doing myself or heading to the professionals.

ive checked my car service booklet for this service its only a minor service so i'lll be getting done @ a local service dealer, just Oil and Filter needs replacing i'm not going spend $100+ just to get them things done.

On another Note, My Family has Finally Jumped Ships, They are Getting a Ford Falcon as Their Next Car, if everything goes well tomorrow, we will have a brand new Falcon xr6, they haven't Had a Falcon since i was Born, really hope they get thr correct amount of Money for trading in the Vw Jetta.

I'll be creating a new thread once i know that my parents will be getting the xr6 Falcon.

I think you would be hard pressed to find a professional that would give a service for $100.00 although Midas do give $139.00 services and check over the car also.

Midas link...

EDIT: no wait, im thinking of the 135,000. My bad only oil and filter. If your handy with a spanner you could do it for under $50. Not too sure on who can do it for that kinda price down there but make sure they use a genuine sump plug "washer" as the genuine's use a little rubber 'O' ring. And they tend to leak when used with a metal type.
