Default Annoying rattle in B pillar

So I have had this incredibly annoying rattle coming from the B pillar in my WS Fiesta for sometime.
What would be the best course of action to fix it, or am I better taking it to the dealer and going through the pain of trying to get them to sort it under warranty? Thanks

Have you tried pressing on pieces of trim to see if you can find it?

We had a small rattle down the bottom of the A pillar on rough corrogated roads and i found it was a small piece of plastic trim that i eventually got to move a little and now it doesnt rattle

Yea I have given it a good press and a punch, doesn't seem to change it, it's strange though because one day it's there and the next it isn't.

hi vhcbm,
I've had the trim off on the inside of the B-pillar, its not that hard if you want to investigate. The only thing I can think of before removing the trim is try checking that the safety belt anchor at the bottom of the pillar is correctly tightened.
Apart from that, it could be something inside the trim, and when you've belted it, you've shifted something, hence the intermittent noise.
One other bit of my experience: if the passenger leaves the belt twisted the buckle tends to 'gently' knock against the B-pillar trim making a noise that sounds way more complicated than it was...
hope that's of use!

Thanks for the advice. It appears to be in the Black plastic area because if I push it in a certain spot as demonstrated in the image it appears to stop.

Don't know how I can fix it though because all of that is just attached by small clips I believe so tightening some bolts probably won't be the solution.
