Hi guys, I think not many people know that how to put the car computer into manufactory mode, here is the way~~~
First, push and hold the tripmeter reset button, then turn the ignition to II position, release the reset button until u see the information display shows "test". To logout the manufactory mode, just simply switch off the ignition. On the information display, u will see some different numbers, some of then might be different as what I wrote here, but just follow the step, here we go: 1.9A9E: checking all meters. 2. checking the lcd screen 3. checking all LEDs 4. showing computer ROM level & model 5. Er.....: no require 6. E...: no require 7. dt.....: the manufacturing date of meters 8. DTC codes 9. NONE 10. SP...mph: car speed 11. SP...km/H: car speed 12. Yea, i think there's a thread a while ago dealing with the trip computer's factory diagnostic mode which gives all this info.
It's nice to have all this, especially since the needle speedo is usually calibrated to read higher than actual speed and apparently the factory diagnostic mode gives the true speed and for the engine temp, which doesn't have a guage on the dash for. Just need to find a way for it to display without having to start the compy in diagnostic mode. |
