Ok, that was the third time in recent memory that total strangers have complimented my XR6 on its color. This time i was driving past 2 fellas in a carpark and my window was down and i could hear them as I passed. Ive had teenage girls comment and some other fella ask for the name of the color so he could use it on some project.
Ford should always keep the most popular colors, why fiddle with success!??!?! They should bring back Blueprint as well. This is Breeze in the middle: Last edited by turbodewd; 15-02-2013 at 03:34 PM. Reason: k |

I love the newer version they've brought out on the FG2, similar colour but a bit more green, looks awesome. I think it's called swift?

I bought swift because I had not seen any on the road. Then I buy one, and every man and his dog has one.

And damn....... just look at all them optional accessories.
Fantasy definitely does it for me. I love chameleon colours. The EL GT colour Sparkling Burgundy is pretty sweet too.

Breeze is a fantastic colour. As for blueprint I reckon it looks a lot better on AU's than it did on BA's.

I just wished Ford would let us have any damn color we want on the G series. And same with the leather interior, i am sick of black/charcoal being only choice inside the XRs. Again, G series get the choice of Kashmir which is what i want nextime, i.e 2014.

Breeze is a bloody nice colour and also not that common, I would of liked one but Dash popped up first.
People either love it or hate it lol.

I was talking to a car salesmen recently who told me he has been on the lookout for a Bf xr6 for about 8 months. I asked why he hadn't got one yet and he said it had to be in breeze. He wouldn't even consider any other colour. He said its really hard to find any in the colour let alone a good clean example. The bright and different colours should be brought back modern cars seem now to only come in 5 shades of grey or silver.
Interestingly enough had a work mate a not bother to purchase a new xr6 ute (FG2) because he couldn't get any colour he liked. He wanted something vibrant and different. He asked for nitro blue which is no longer offered the purple which is no more the bright green which is also no more. looking over the colour choices it was the usual selections of black grey whites and silvers. So he didn't bother. If they still made Nitro he would have bought one there and then. |

Breeze is one of my absolute favourite colours I've ever seen on a car! I love it!
Breeze, Octane and Seduce have to be some of my favourites. |

Breeze is magnificent, Octane is fantastic too - would be hard to pick either, when new. It's sad Ford discontinues them - our neighbour has a Viper FG for instance - another legacy...
Breeze & Octane always distract me whilst driving - hey! That's probably why they're discontinued. p.s. Ego has bright green sparkles when the sun hits it, and i like that too.

Sorry, I don't understand what the fuss about Breeze is all about.... just another colour.
Nice colour red on that car on the right though. In the last 10 years or so Ford seemed to have problems getting the mid-red colours vixen-venom right IMO. Holden reds seem better to me for some reason. |

But a car is all about the colour! i was looking to buy a GS but it was a case of 9 monochrome colours out of 12 except for kinetic, mars red and vixen! Looks like they employed the paint picker from toyota or BMW |
