It's not about the VE in particular, its about a chev badge being present right before your eyes... lol

It is what is given when people cry about another one of these threads when it was purely for entertainment unlike the last couple of people who posted actually had something decent to say. How about you put your eyes where the other indecent peoples comments are. Cheers

Or the TRD Badges on a toyota camry

Nowadays, who really cares. Each to their own.

It is always amusing how Falcon owners tend to put more Falcon or XR or GT or whatever badges on their vehicles as well as decals denoting BOSS or 260/290/whatever and stripes with or without engine power or vehicle model which basically say "Look at me, I have a Ford Falcon XR/GT and I am bloody proud of it"

Commodore owners almost never put more holden badges or stripes etc, but DO commonly replace every single holden identifier with something from a completely different vehicle.

Are they ashamed and embarrassed to be seen driving a holden?

Been done mate
This youtube vid shows a chev VE in USA been transformed back to the original holden spec..

Without being on which side of the fence you prefer, the car does sound good, good power and he has my respect for the amount of work.

Better still, put an 'Opel' badge on a commodore. Brocky would have a kinipshen.

Have you seen the size of the badges on a VE?

I'd get rid of them too, it's like driving with dinner plates at each end of your car.

Yeah, so let's put a completely different badge on it. Good logic.

if you really must argue with him show him this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_LS_engine

they aren't a Chevrolet motor. I personally wouldn't bother mate. he believes what he wants about his car. I have had arguments with HSV fan boys that the Miami V8 in the FPVs are more responsive then the HSV V8s. people will always defended the brand they like. so its pointless trying too explain it too him. its an argument you cant win. no matter how right you are. he wont believe you

PPPS ...... Do a search "Chev badge on Holden" They all end in tears.
