I wonder how they will decide who gets a forced redundency and who does'nt.....As artcile says alot a hanging on because forced redundency pays more.

But at the end of the day, despite their denial's, there has to be a bit of personal opinion of who they like and who they don't. It's human nature. We will all know next Friday. |

We got rated out of 100 and I couldn't get out of the 70-75 bracket where as one of the other guys got stuck in the 50s and no matter what either of us did we would never make it up to the next bracket and the comments were always the same. Doesn't work like that in big companies, its all a big game of politics. |

Ford will move all production to Thailand/Malaysia and then war will break out and dealers won't be able to get any stock.

Whilst the redundancies may be old news, the actual news is not enough people took the voluntary redundancies so Ford is now forcing them.
Unsure of the relevance to Iraq and Thailand. Some people need to lay off the alcohol.

Hope you guys and girls working there in the firing line are looked after in either case and are given the assistance you should be. No one likes to see anyone being put out of work.
My only lament is that maybe the number of Falcon and Territory sales would be higher right now if upper management got around to the model facelift a bit earlier - therefore keeping your jobs more secure. I honestly hope that come the release of the facelift models there is a tsunami of orders and you're all rushed off your feet keeping up! |
