I put them on last year. I haven't done enough driving since the change but I think they were worth it.
Good to see you still have your car too.

Once you've opened up a thread your looking to contribute
you touch the RH side orange arrow that opens up so as you can type your comments you'll see icons below like your photo album first one on the left. Press that opens up your pic file, select the pic you wish to add in your post then press Done bottom Right. You'll then be asked what size. Being a casual member like me I press the middle size its loads up (only 1 pic a time) then press Reply your post loads up.

Well its been a few weeks now and the new coilovers are going well. The car rides a lot smoother and copes better with bumps.I think i have my ride height just about right. I removed my 30mm front sway bar and fitted the original one from factory and it goes around corners and bends very well.I am going to Batemans Bay this weekend for a week and see how it goes over these roads they call highways.

car is a bit filthy at the moment. Just back tonight from the Batemans Bay. Car went realy well. Suspension worked wonders coming down the twisty hill leading into Batesmans Bay. Raced a mustang on the passing lanes and out handled the stanger. I was impressed how the car struck on line through the corners.

I’ve been running the Shockworks gear in my XR8 since 2016 and recently had it put under my Pursuit project, absolutely fantastic set-up, alongside the Brembos would be the the two best mods I’ve done to it.
Absolutely night and day compared to standard but rides as nice or better than the Passat I drive at work. |
