back in my younger years, i used to go to computer lans, was pretty cool few years ago lol
well anyway, was at a mates lan, and one of the guys went off to have a shower, so me thinking it would be funny, hopped on his machine and loaded up all random software in scheduled tasks, winamp, word, excel, internet explorer, calculator etc to open up at different times in the day. closed it up didnt leave a trace. few weeks later, i get a call from the same mate asking if i have a copy of winxp, im like "umm wat for man?" he goes to me, "man my comp needs a format, when im playing games or doing stuff , winamp will open or word and its giving me the s.hi,ts i think its fkd" here i am finger on microphone and cant stop laughing... i composed myself for a few seconds and said "wat the hell", and i just couldnt hold it in anymore and burst out laughing and he goes wat wat, and ye.. i told him, he wasnt to happy.

LOL, I did that stuff all the time when I was in school.
Back then Donald Duck and Sub7 where the "coolest" tools around and a mate and I used them in IT class. We had all the computers in the lab mapped out, including the teachers one. This one kid we didn't really like copped it bad and he thought it was just him that was stuffing up every computer that he hopped on! Lost count of the amount of times we stole his hotmail account using DD and made him beg for it back via e-mail. I'm surprised we never got cought. The two of us sitting at the back giggling and snickering away as other students complained about their computers failing. BTW, LAN parties rock. I don't care how geeky it is. I still get to one every now and then when I have time. Nothing like staying awake all weekend playing games, leeching crap off each other and drinking Jolt. |

Didn't happen to me, but to a friend of mine. And it's not computer related, but a bastard thing all the same.
A male friend of mine is petrified of dwarfs. Not sure why, but he completely freaks when he sees one. He was on a footy trip with the boys, and left the pub about 2am and went back to the hotel to bed. His mates stayed at the pub and a little person (pc) came into the pub. An hour later, my friend woke up in bed with the dwarf standing on the end of his bed doing a dance. My friend almost had a heart attack, and his mates were hiding in the wardrobe ****ing themselves laughing. The dwarf ran off down the corridor, $100 bucks in his pocket that he got from the guys for doing it. |

I remember when numbers and letters Mclaren (Adam) and I found out that when sending emails from school computers, putting "John Doe_____________________" (with a load of spaces, rather than underscores) into the "From" box meant it said John Doe and then your email at the very end, while with a blank box, it would just say your name. We sent an email to someone claiming to be the principal, and asked him to immediately come to her office, with his pack of Magic cards (collectable card game)
about 2 minutes later we hear a loud "What the f**k?" from the other side of the room, and all his friends looked. We laughed for about 2 minutes while he got hyped up to leave, then let him off the hook when he got to the door. Edit: Yummy Mummy, that is HILARIOUS

My mate's dad never got along with another coworker, and later when he resigned from his job (as a welder), he welded all his coworkers tools to the metal work bench. Apparently it took them an angle-grinder and one of those welding chisels to get them off (needless to say the tools were totalled).

A while back at uni, a mate of mine had just finished a rather large assignment and left it up on his screen, ready to print. Nature called however and he went off to relieve himself. Of course, we jumped on his computer and added some alternative terms for genitals and sexual activities plus some profanities into his essay, worded carefully so that it flowed with what he was actually trying to discuss :P
He didn't check it, printed it, and got an Official Letter <tm> in the mail a week later requesting his prescence in front of some Academic Disciplinary Board hehe Another time at uni, another guy left his computer to have a smoke or something, so I googled "Animal Porn" and opened every link that came up, leaving it on the screen so that everyone who walked in the room saw the images/movies that popped up... Our internet usage is logged and checked up upon, so the admin would've had an interesting time looking through this guy's history! -Dave- |

The worst thing i have ever done would be, about three weeks before a freind was to get married we had his bucks night, well we got him sh!t faced and then put he on the Gahn that goes across to Perth. He was nacked hand cuffed just enough money for a phone call and he was also completly shaved from head to toe. Needless to say when he rang his girl freind and said where he was all hell broke loss. I would love to have been at the other end when the coppers turned up at the station to go and get him, and i still see this freind to this day. And no i didnt have a bucks night when i got married. I wonder why.

Hmm.. I've done a fair few but one that comes to mind was when a mate was leaving work.
We went out and covered his windscreen with half-eaten marshmellows. Most were white and they were on the outside, on the inside were the pink ones and they spelt out "BYE".. Very arty. Also we put a domi on his exhaust expecting it to inflat massively and then pop... Nothing that dramatic, it inflated a bit and then flew off... We should have taped it down.

there was this one time that i met a "healthy" young lady and told a supposed mate, that she was interested and then told her that my mate was interested also.
they started talking, and the confusion on their faces was gold......

I once inserted 3 potato's into someones exhaust at a party. Car was there for 3 days.
At work there is one user who's bandwidth is throttled down to less then dialup speed, simple because they shít me. The receptionist yesterday told me it was odd that her child handnt rang her all day. I said it wasprobably because she was dead. I was told thats not very nice, say something nice. So I did. My reply was, I'm sure it was quick and she didnt suffer. I randomly remove network cables from the switch at work for entertainment value. I open peoples CD rom drawers at random throughout the office through computer management. I randomly change the admin areas windows background images to displays of horse porn. I ring phones at peoples desks when they arent there, annoying those around them, and then lock out transfer so they have to get up and answer it. I then hang up. I reset peoples passwords to "Imretarded" and "cantgetitup" then wait for them to call. I dont perform single acts of malevolence usually, just thousands of things that makes peoples days a bit longer, and bit more painful, and edge them just that bit closer to an act of homicide or suicide.

Removing read/execute rights from applications is one of my favorites. Or putting porn on their desktop and then removing all rights so they can't get rid of it.
