Wow! That's insane, I can't believe that Werribee river is that flooded, at least I didn't attempt to drive through that!! LOL! :nutsycuck

I've got my camera on me so when the tow truck comes I can take pics of where my car is and what the usual little dribbles of water that run through the creek look like now. Concrete bridges snapped in half.. it's just unbelievable. :

Now stay away for a bit rain and we'll both be happy.

Thanks Rodderz... Laverton Factory was not too bad... A little water in upstairs offices. Home is the issue!!.... Thank f*** the damn VRC haven't gone ahead with their floodwall around Flemington racecourse (YET).. If that was up, you take 1.6 million cubic metres out of the natural floodplain... Imagine upstream near the Anglers Tavern (AND my house) then???? How in the hell Bracks is allowing this amazes me??.......

i drove from geelong to melbourne thismorning as i do everyday for work, it took me 40mins to move 1km at 6:30am, by which time my wipers stopped working (somehow got water in the fusebox) so freaking slowly turned around and drove back to the train station. Jumped on the train which gave me a great look at the highway, guys the entire way up is like one huge river!

the train stopped at times because the water was over the tracks, we were watching sheep being carried out of their fields, swept over the train line, over the highway and they just kept going. was definately a sight for soar eyes. Taking the digicam from work with me on the way home to hopefully capture some of the remaining madness.

Some very nice photo opportunities there. I was just thinking about the one with all the cars ploughing through the water. To be honest, I wouldn't proceed through water with my car now as I've seen all too often slotted x-drilled DBA rotors crack when cooled too quickly by such things. I'd hold up traffic if I had to it's just not worth the risk. That's not to mention the air scoop I am running in my left hand cornering lamp hole!
