Default Road Rage

About 25 minutes ago, while I was driving in to work, I was cut off by a little red Honda. I casually tooted the horn, and this must have angered him as he slammed on his brakes, nearly causing me to rear end him (When he cut me off he completely removed my safe gap from the car in front). I hopped into the right lane and he slowed down and pulled up beside me. He swerved right over near my car and was hanging out the window, swearing and waving an alarmingly large machete.

What would you do in this situation? I just turned as quick as possible down the next sidestreet. I reckon that if the traffic wasn't so heavy he would have followed me.

Is it worth calling the police? I got his rego.

I'd have waved the club lock back at him, then let my eyes glaze over in the usual way.

Ah bravado behind glass, some of the worlds toughest stances are taken from behind a windscreen!

And the statistics of those beaten with their own baseball bat, cut with their own machete, pummelled with their own crowbar are not good!

If you wouldn't be brave enough to shout stuff to to someone face its more than prudent not to try it from behind a windscreen. Unless you ARE hell bent on having your drivers door removed forcibly at the next set of lights.

I'm with Bastard on this one, present an air even more mentally defective than the other guy, shut the hell up, and the only thing you'll have lost is your position in a traffic queue. This is much more preferable to losing your health and bits of car.

And those of with age, size and a maddening look, will actually get a chuckle watching your manic struggle to raise the windows and lock the doors in a panicked state!

How about a stun gun. Send a fair few volts through their body and make them fry. To the point where you can see smokecoming off his body. Just make him feel your rath.

THe other option is you could always hide :. but i prefer the stun gun. It should be made mandatory that everyone ownes one and uses it at their own free will .

why wouldnt you ring the cops, these people should be off the road.

I can take of myself and do so on a regular basis, but imagine your poor mum or little sister?

Would you recommend that they also buy the crowbar from supercheapandcrappy stores?

You couldnt trust their quality from Supercheap, after all Greg Murphy is the biggest tool they have.

Contemplate on that thought for a while!

And anyone contemplating kitting up their car with weapons of any kind should take a long hard look!

Report the crazies! We know some will fly off for no reason, does anyone thing provocation is going to settle the demeanour?

If it does not have a bullbar the size of a small car on the front, I would have it fitted. I would also, for safetys sake, make sure that wherever possible is reinforced with steel.

I would then have a heavily worked 351 Cleveland put in truck with a dual 3" exhaust. Fit a 200ltr fuel tank and 8 spot lights across the roof of the truck.

Paint it black.

Now see if anyone has a problem with you. In the unlikely case where they do... Remove them, the car in front and they caravan they are towing from the road, with your bullbar, and keep going.

im guessing you didnt see her again..........

had a little rage last night..........behind a bird driving a vn last night in a 50k zone and she starts to slow down..ok she is turning into a driveway so i go to go up the inside then she swerves to the left to get a wider turning circle while im on the anchors ,like back roads no one around why not just cut across to the driveway!!,anyway gave her a flash and the "learn to drive" speech and was on my way.

but that is my pet hate with drivers, when they go to turn right at a intersection with lines marked and they swerve to the left to get that little bit more room for the corner.
