Hmmm this is a hard one....

Coopers Sparkling Ale or Pale Ale for a normal style beer both quite nice
And for stout style beer favorites are Coopers Special Old Stout and then of cause there is the NECTAR OF THE GODS (tm) that is GUINNESS (tm).. there are heaps of other really nice beers around though.. ( VB is NOT one of them! )

BTW i think this has been done before recently..

VB??????

How could VB be at the top of the ratings. Cheap yes. Many people almost bottle fed it when young but as far as great beer goes... Sorry it shouldn't even rank.

Agreed, XXXX Gold is really nice, for a light beer. Nice at lunchtime, doesn't put you to sleep.

I don't mind XXXX Bitter for an easy drink too.

Hmmmm. I dont drink beer at all. However, when Eamon gets home, Im sure he will vote...

His favourites are (I will attempt an order):

1. Crown
2. Boags
3. Cascade
4. Becks
5. VB

He hates Coopers Pale Ale (he is Victorian afterall) and there is another one he really liked, but I dont remember what it was. Hahn Premium or something, perhaps...

I think we have a carton each of numbers 1, 3 and 5 sitting around somewhere!

Anyways, he can post later! Hehe.

Oh come on!

Coopers Pale Ale all the way. At least post a comprehensive list!

If I'm going cheap/bogan, its West End Draught for me.

I support my state!
