Was at a car and machine show today and saw these's high performance fuel catalyst tubes you fit to your fuel line.
Claims to give you 10-12% power increase, up to 26% torque increase, 10-15% better fuel economy, cleans you engine, 50% lower emissions, Has a 12 month money back guarantee. The guy also said if say you were running 98 octane, it will raise the octane level to 106 octane. If any one has tried them whats your opinion on them, if anyone wants more info go to there website www.performafuel.com. |

Lol not unless a group of forums members got a couple of these gadgets put on their car for the sole purpose of having them dyno'd to see if the gain was actually there.
Before run Fit the gadget After run

I bunged a Fuelstar on my car when I was having emissions problems & it did clean it up alot much to my surprise the guy doing the testing thought I must be running cats to get them so low & the RTA test said the fuel consumption was better but I haven't compared them in real world situation & haven't dynoed before & after so I don't know about the other claims.

Parents used a fuelstar on their Falcon. One time they had a prob where it leaked and petrol fumes came out. That got fixed no probs tho.
My stepdad used to do hundreds of thousands of km's as part of being a rural auctioneer and real estate salesperson and he thought that it did make an improvement on economy but I don't think he said power was any different.
