yeah ouch...think there was another thread on this though.....

They could just do what merc does and call it a "technical enhancement"....lol

Would make stuff all differences when majority of all car manufacturers have a recall for something.

Same thing happened with the BA Falcon when it was released, side airbags were going off but Ford resolved it in a matter of months...

There was also an Issue with an ECU niggle that caused the Very early BA XR6T's to switch off while in heavy driving conditions. That was fixed easy with an ECU Flash on the next scheduled service of the respective affected cars.
