Default Unusual turbo charged six cylinder Falcon

I've been thinking about doing something similar. Get the running gear out of a crashed F6 and transfer it to a XK-XP style body. Leave the body and interior original and only have non standard wheels and ride height. Would be the ultimate sleeper.

Stating the obvious but I'd be doing some serious work on the brakes too. Would an XR6T power plant be cheaper and easier to come by. It would make a very cool project. Are the XR6T motors longer than the old 170?

In hindsight I probably should have turboed the 221 in my XT ute, just for something different...

There is a nice XP (I think) with a very neat turbo set up in Victoria.
