Default The one millionth post

As we approach this milestone in the life of the forum, we have decided to provide a grab back of merchandise (both Ford and AFF) to the poster of that milestone post.

To determine the actual post we will use the database post number (which is the actual count) rather than the statistical number shown at the bottom of the forum home page. The latter number excludes deleted posts and is therefore out by more than 7,000 at present but as the deleted posts were actually made the number used will include them.

As of about 5 minutes ago the number stands at 969,247 and with the present weekly numbers running around 14-15,000 I'd expect the milestone to be reached within the next fortnight.

Cheers
Russ

That’s excellent news! It really emphasises the value of this site to users, the wealth of information shared by users and shows that the answers can really be found to all the questions you want answered about our Fords.

I would like to use this opportunity to thank all the Moderators and Administration team for the excellent work that goes into this site on a daily basis and the commitment to upgrading the site to make things better for all of us. Your work does not go unappreciated! THANKS!

A good question ... made me look.

The BAR holds 14.2 % of the post total. They do count toward the overall total.
