From the final gear website
The BBC is to indefinitely postpone the new series of Top Gear until presenter Richard Hammond has recovered from the brain injuries he suffered in a high-speed crash. “We would not think of finalising plans for the next series without discussing it with everyone involved,” the BBC said in a statement. “When it is suitable, the team will do this and we will announce a new transmission date.”More at Reuters.co.uk. I was so looking forward to the new season.

What a decent and sensible decision to make.
Here's hoping he pulls through ok. Saw some footage of Da Matta on RPM - Glad to see he is up and about on the road to recovery but I think its doutbful he will ever drive again |

Yep, should be postponed until Richie feels better, and mentally prepared.

They have stated they they will postpone until the trio are all up to scratch. The hamster has requested to make the new series with him in his hospital bed, but thats as far as im aware at this point in time. Finalgear.com are up to date with all the happening as far as top gear and 5th gear are concerned, along with Richard Hammond
