2.82 no no BTW if you have firmware 2.72 or below, do not upgrade.

If you dont have anything wrong with your PSP or new games dont require it, you dont need to upgrade your firmware.

Well you would if you wanted flash games, and more video formats. But if you have 2.72 or below, you can downgrade to 1.5, then play any snes/sms/gameboy/n64/etc games, as well as iso's from the memory stick, and be able to run homebrew. Then you can just use devhook to fake that its 2.72 and still enjoy all the new features too.

Yeh some games work better than others. I have 300 snes roms, 22 psp games, 700 sega games and 4 lucas arts games. Never a dull moment with 1.5.
