Default benaraby raceway burntout ,

the benaraby raceway ( Gladstone , QLD ) drag strip was burnt out by a bushfire a couple of weeks ago.

this is a club run track that has been operating for 30 years.

fire was 2 days after the last meeting for the year so i guess they were lucky in that regard but it seems that they have lost over $100 000 worth of equipment and damage.
