A Ferrari police car? That's just ridiculous!
Yep, it sure is. Don't rub your eyes or pinch yourself, that really is a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti in police livery. A somewhat scarier view in your rear-view mirror than a Vauxhall Vectra, we think you'll agree. Thankfully, 540bhp supercars are far from the future for the British Police - this is strictly a one-off to accompany the Ferrari 60th anniversary tour during its UK leg. The 612 panda car will be driven by volunteers from five British police forces during the 1500-mile leg around the UK, which began in Belfast yesterday |

Back to the topic, I would probably enjoy being pulled over by that. Better yet, if I get arrested do they put me in the back and take me to the station?? : |

You and I are car nuts. However 80% of car users are not. They want cheap, reliable transport. So say your mother, or grandmother, who needs to get to the shops once a week, needs more than 2L? No. Does she want to race? NO. Does she care about the power output of her engine? NO. Forget it. I can't be bothered even finishing my point. |

BTW. Nice cop car. I'd probably want to get arrested if it meant getting a ride in that.

Last time I looked Fords were cars. This is a car related subject, hence should be allowed on the forums.
I don't get why we sudddenly have all these new people on here who are trying to question the posts of some of our oldest members. Do you guys really care? Do these general automotive posts cost you money? Do you pay for the bandwidth for Fordforums?. Sitting around arguing day in and day out over what colours work with what stripe package, or whether to get the turbo or the v8, or self congradulation that we own cars with blue ovals on the grill would just get boring, and it does get boring. |
