Well Freo have managed to heave-ho Chris Tarrant to the port club - and have waved goodbye Medhurst (to collingwood) and Polak (tigers). I was hoping Taz would end up with the mighty Eagles, but alas my 2nd favourite team will be a better side with Taz, Pav, Farmer and the thoroughly improving Murphy in the forward line. But im still trying to get my head around Taz in a Freo jumper. Will look kind of weird :
What do you all think? A good deal, or not? |

I think the Pies did really well here. Getting Medhurst and pick 8 in what is said to be a very strong draft.
I'm happy we stuck to our guns and got what we wanted for him.

Very happy...we have`nt needed Tarrant for a couple years now, no good a genius on the field if he only fires now and again. pick 8 and Medhurst is a good start. not big on Freo but you gotta agree their forward line looks strong. Solomon was a good pick-up there too. the Doggies done well for themselves too.

Loose one selfish player get another.
Old Tazz is the biggest star the game has seen to never star for a season. Does that make him a elite paid footballer?

Hopefully Tarrant is one of them players which was crap (he wasen't to bad I guess) for the club he played for, then once moves to another club then becomes a superstar

Tarrant needs to put in more effort both on and off the field to be consistant each week. He has the ability but his care factor doesnt seem to be anywhere near 100%

Will be interesting to see how he likes the Perth lifestyle??? Good luck to Tarrant, is better off at the Dockers. Just can't believe Freo gave up so much for him, Medhurst and pick 8, Collingwood would be rubbing their hands.

I have a feeling Freo are gonna end up like St Kilda. One of the best forward lines but lacking in other areas.
Tarrant would of been useless at the Eagles. There is no position for him. |

If only the crow's had recruited ex Sacred Heart boy Pav & then went after Tarrant. We are hopless with recruiting IMO. We went after some no body 6'2 forward from Geelong who wanted to much money WTF. I just hope we get Brcye Gibbs I doubt it though. Good on Freo there fwd line with Taz, Pav & the primary producer is looking very good.
