Default Thinkin of getting some dark side

Getting rid of me terra, looking at downsizing to something that may in future become collectable and appreciating. I looked at a VS GTS : today for $17500 grand with 100k on clock, they arn't completely out of thought when it comes to future money makers, can anyone else out there come up with something under 20k which might be a future earner!!!!!!!!!! :evil3:

VT S1 GTS - I had one, still miss it.

Great car, and though they are a bit heavier than the VS, they had thermo fans instead of a clutch fan, which helped them breathe higher up. Not a GENIII mind you, 5.7 stroker.

As for blue oval products, Steffo is on the money. Early TE/TS.

ED XR8 Sprint is a good option too, or an FBT.

Since race pedigree is pretty much non-existant in most (if not all) aussie built cars post 1970's limited edition/numbered cars are the only hope of apprecitaion. i think most cars under 20k that have the potential to go up in price seem to already have... Maybe with the exception of sprints...

Preferable to have a ford. I saw a 1999 TL50 last week for $13990 I thought that was reasonable as they didn't make to many of them!

VK Director (you'll have to haggle but you'll find them under $20k), EA Brock, WB Magnum, TE/TS (not T3 for that money but there is one in QLD with a few km's you could go close with).

Hey bro Ford it is and i have found a few for you on Car point:

1)TS-50 fully optioned black 85,000kms $20,500 ono, must sell (5.o litre) auto

2)TE-50 Red, Leather, Sunroof, Manual 130,000kms $16,500 must sell (5.o litre)

3) TE-50 Red, Leather, Sunroof, Koni's, 18' wheels, Premium Sound, Sports Exhaust,
Auto, 75,600kms, $19,000 ono

The cheapest 5.6 stroker i could find was $27,000 with 80,000kms

I really dont think you are going to find a car that will appreciate in value but one of these will probably hold this sort of price for along time to come and on top of that i really cant picture you driving around in a Holden.

I hope this has been of some help bro

Theres 140,000kms difference between the 2 for $3,000 price difference, i dont know about those stripes either, there would have to be a bit of extra wear & tear on the car with those extra kms, either way he only wants to spend $20,000 so i dont think he can go wrong with the 3 T series i have listed
