Has anyone seen this or booked this before?? (in VIC) Looks great... Gives a great opportunity to drive some fantastic cars... For what you pay... its pretty cheap... (given how much you'd have to outlay to own/drive the cars yourself!!)...

I would totally make the trip down to Vic just to get a drive of a Blue Meanie, or Walky. Two of my all time favourite cars right there.
EDIT: Damn not quite old enough. Would have to wait until January as I'm still 24. |

Sounds great!! This is ideal if you are thinking about buying a newie you can hire one for an extended test drive!!
Another mob here: http://www.supercarrentals.com.au/ They have an FG F6 so hire this one then the FG GT from the other crowd to gain a pretty good comparison.

That's Pretty sweet, gee I could nearly ask for that over a new mig welder for chrissy!
Perhaps the guy wanted a nice car collection, and claims them as business expenses for tax reasons?

I had the idea to set up a business like this as soon as I heard about the P1 Supercar club years ago, which turned into the Supercar Club, which now appears to be in receivership...
Of course having an idea, and having the capital to back it up are two entirely different things. This one looks pretty damn good, cheap too. There are a few supercar versions around the place as well http://www.freemanx.com.au/driving-e...urne-vic/4886/ Much more expensive though. The thing I'd be worried about is the convoy leader setting a too slow pace. Imagine how frustrating it would be driving these kinds of cars on these kinds of roads while stuck behind someone driving too slow the WHOLE DAY! |

Though I can say, i've driven with 3 XY GT's in convoy through the Dandenongs on slightly moist road, and it was incredible... just breaking traction enough to get the heart-rate going... the sound reflection off the trees from the 3 x Clevo's... For $600... its a pretty great line-up... something for everyone... Old school Muscle... New Muscle... HSV/HDT... Hardtops/Hatches/Sedans... Covers ALL the bases!!!

Not sure how they would classify the cars... as they are 'hired' to a point... but not chauffeured... So it would be a similar policy for the owner as a Hertz/Budget/Eurocar type thing... I doubt you would want to be pushing the cars too hard... As they are old classics... they don't steer/brake like the new cars do... Though - like anything there is always a few tools that will push the boundaries...

I dunno about you guys...but if I'm paying good coin for a driving experience...I'd much rather shell out for something more exotic...Lambo/Ferrari/Porsche...
But that's just me. Be a hell of a day though!
